| Rotate the view? | With the "Navigate" button (lower left corner) pushed in, the "Rotate" (lower middle left) button pushed in, and the "Edit View" (lower middle right) button pushed in, click and drag in the viewport. This will rotate your viewpoint around the model. |
| Move / Pan the view horizontally and vertically? | With the "Navigate" button (lower left corner) pushed in, the "Move" (lower middle left) button pushed in, and the "Edit View" (lower middle right) button pushed in, click and drag in the viewport. This will move your viewpoint around the model. |
| Zoom or Dolly the viewpoint? | With the "Edit View" (lower middle right) button pushed in, click and drag over the round dial adjacent to the word "Zoom". This will rotate your viewpoint around the model. |
| Reset the viewpoint? | Click on the "Reset View" button. This will position the viewpoint to a default position for a model. |
| Alter an object's appearance | Click on the object you wish to alter, its name will appear next to the topmost label "Model Name". Adjust the sliders located just below "Model Name:" to interactively view your changes. Checking or unchecking the "Wireframe" checkbox toggles the models wireframe visibility. The "Remove" button permenantly removes the object from the data visualization. |
| Adjust a channel's appearance | Adjust the sliders or click the button located under that channels label on the menu. Channel parameters overide all settings for all objects on that channel. |
| Measure a Distance | With the "Measure" button pushed in (located in the lower left corner), click and hold the mouse where you wish to begin measurement. Drag your mouse and release the button where you wish to end measurement. Small triangles mark your start and end point. The distance is displayed to the left of the "Measure" button |
| Load a different surface reconstruction | Enter the name of surface reconstruction file in the top most textfield (case sensitive) and click on the "Load" button. A list of available files is provided just below the applet. |
| Display multiple surface reconstructions | Enter the name of surface reconstruction file in the top most textfield (case sensitive) and click on the "Merge" button. A list of available files should be located just below the applet. |
| Reposition or rotate a portion of the surface reconstruction. | Repositioning and rotating objects independantly is done with "Navigate" button pressed in (lower left corner) and the "Edit Model" button pressed in. Rotation and Movement can then be performed in a manner similar to rotating and moving the viewpoint. Movements and rotations will occur on the last object you clicked on. |
