| 1 | In the top most text field type in "example.3DS" (case sensitive) and click on the "Load" button.

| 2 | Click on the "Reset View" Button

| 3 | Slide the opacity slider for channel 1 to "0"
Notice the slider changes from "Add" to a number and unchecks "Additive" automatically.

| 4 | Click in the box next to "Hide" under Channel 1, the box becomes filled in white and the glassy surface is hidden completely.

| 5 | Click and drag the mouse upwards over the arc shaped dial next to the word "Zoom". The green surface appears to move closer, continue to zoom in until the green surface is touching the left edge of the viewport

| 6 | Click on the "Move" button, "Move" is written in white and the button appears pressed in.

| 7 | Click the mouse and hold on the middle of the green surface, drag the mouse to the middle of the viewport, the green surface follows. |
| 8 | Click on the white box next to "Hide" for "Channel 1". Move the opacity slider up until it reads "135"
|
| 9 | Click on the Measure button. Then click and hold on the topmost portion of the red surface, slowley drag your mouse straight down until a triangle appears on the yellow surface
Depending on where you clicked, the blue box next to the "Measure" button should read approximately 160 microns |
| 10 | Click on the "Navigate" button.
Click on the "Rotate" button. Click and hold in the middle of the viewport, slowley dragging the mouse to the right. You can examine your measurement from another angle. |
