Research Description:
The aim of our research is to understand the evolutionary processes, developmental mechanisms, and ecological contexts that generate morphological variation in vertebrates. We are currently investigating craniofacial development in frogs, characterizing the transitions between the embryonic primary mouth, novel tadpole feeding apparatus, and postmetamorphic jaws and teeth.
